SHOCKING: 8 year old Girl Dies In Bayelsa Hospital Because Of Power Outage

This is so shocking!!! According to the reports, a girl, aged 8, died at the Bayelsa owned Diette Koki Memorial Hospital for women and children due to alleged power outage.

It has been learnt that the child, identified as Inato Sunday, was until her death a primary two pupil.
The family members claimed the death was caused by the unavailability of the technical staff of the hospital in charge of the power generating set.

Inato was reportedly rushed to the hospital by the parents on Monday due to stomach ache complaint but that her situation got worse on admission and died in the early hours of Tuesday at about 2am.

The girl's aggrieved father, Sunday Nyingasa, lamented that following the administration of treatment and series of unidentified drugs, the deceased started convulsing.

“Before we knew it, my daughter started convulsing. We prayed as the doctors tried all their best to stabilize her condition. Later she became calm and they said that they have no choice but to put her on life support machine. To save the life of my daughter I paid for all they asked me to do. But the doctors allow my daughter to die because of power failure.”

The man said that when the power failure occurred, the staff in charge of the generating set that would have switched on power was nowhere to be found.

“It took the nurses over 15 minutes to look for the man who was suppose to put on their power generating set. So sad, my daughter couldn’t hold on any longer, as she started vomiting and later gave up the ghost.”
