The Humiliation Of A University Graduate On Graduation Day (PHOTOS)

Credit: KD Blog

Is this the level of degradation the Nigerian educational system has gotten to...A shocking but funny picture which has been circulating since yesterday showed a young man celebrating his graduation from the university with "class and style"....

The Psychology graduate of Imo State University IMSU whose name is withheld due to embarrassing reasons deemed it fit to celebrate his graduation by being drenched with water as he rolled on the ground, messing himself up with "joy and happiness"...Only if we knew how long it took him to conquer the battle......"School matter no be small tin".....

If some Nigerian graduates can behave this way because they've made it through the University, how would
it be when they get a job or even become successful in life....Little wonder the political thugs in our National chambers know how to scale fences and jump gates efficiently -when the educated and thugs all do the same thing... Anyways, congratulations to the young man who has "scaled his own fence", graduating from the hurdles of the Nigerian school system......See more photos below:

Corruption, Incompetence & the Worst Administration since 1960? NYT Columnist discusses “The Present Nigerian Government”

In a recent op-ed article for the New York Times, Anglo-Nigerian writer Adewale Maja-Pearce based in Lagos, discusses the political unrest in Nigeria, as he predicts more problems in the coming election season.
He states Nigeria is virtually a single party state and cannot unite because of ethnic and religious differences. He also strongly criticizes President Goodluck Jonathan‘s administration, alleging he takes care of his region over others in Nigeria.

His Perception of Goodluck Jonathan’s Indifference for National Tragedies
The incompetence of Mr. Jonathan’s government is most clearly seen in its inability to rescue the 276 schoolgirls, most of them believed to be Christians, who were kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents in the largely Islamic north last April.

Help! Our Government Protects Boko Haram Terrorists from Us

Our president on the 9th of March, 2011, announced that he knew the sponsors of Boko Haram terror. It is over three years later; he leaves them free and federally financed to continue to sponsor our deaths.

For his five years in office and the same five years of terror, not a single politician sponsor of Boko Haram has been incarcerated or killed. Not a single one. Who does he protect?

Our National Security Adviser, late Andrew Owoye Azazi was fired by our president and subsequently got killed after being under threat from the ruling party for declaring that its members were the sponsors of Boko Haram. Our heroes are killed to protect the terror!

We all appreciate the position you have taken and the sacrifice you have made. There are lessons to be learnt from all that is unfolding towards building a better future. This is noted by the party and Nigerians. You have demonstrated the true spirit of democracy. You have indeed shown the way to all other party members on the kind of sacrifice expected of them. You are a good example to the young and old and the leading lights of our party.
