A 300-level female student of the Lagos State University abducted three years ago has been rescued by men of the area ‘E’ command of the police in Lagos. The victim who now has a baby for the alleged abductor was rescued by the officers in Ogun state, south west Nigeria. The suspect who is a pastor and one of the tenants in a house owned by the parents of the abducted student has also been detained by the police.
Although the state of health of the victim has not been ascertained, it was gathered that her parents have been contacted on the matter.
The abduction incident is similar to that of an American abductor, Ariel Castro, the man who abducted three women and held them in captivity for ten years in the United States, with one of the abducted girls giving birth to a girl within the period of abduction.
