Ukrainians Have shown Their Hatred Towards Nigerian students Again (LOOK)

        

Ukrainian authorities have reported the kidnap of nine Nigerian students (names withheld) in the city of Lugansk, Ukraine.

A statement released by the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Information Centre, Andrey Lysenko, stated that the abducted students were being held in a seized building of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine).



Lysenko said that negotiations have been underway to free the nine students allegedly taken captive by separatists in the eastern city of Luhansk, who are seeking greater autonomy have been waging a bloody battle in eastern Ukraine against the government.

It further said that relatives of the kidnapped students had been making efforts to address a press conference at the Nigerian Embassy in Ukraine.

Lysenko told a news conference yesterday that people with experience were conducting negotiations and contact with “the terrorists,” with the hoped that the talks would end “successfully in the near future.”

The Federal Government is yet to make a statement concerning the 9 abducted students.

In 2013, two Nigerian students, late Laolu Oresanya Teresa and Obede Ogbu, died in an Ukrainian hospital after being briefly ill.
The Country’s autorities had reported that the students died because they could not afford medical bills. It was however, revealed that doctors neglect at the hospitals they were admitted, lead to their death.
