Boko Haram Programmed To Derail Goodluck's Re-Election

Leader of the defunct Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has described Jamāat Ahl as-Sunnah lid-dawa wal-Jihād, popularly known as Boko Haram, as a political movement set up to cow Christians in the northern part of Nigeria against voting for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

Dokubo-Asari, who made the observation weekend in Port Harcourt at the 4th edition of the South South Youth Leaders and Elders interactive forum, said the key mission of  Boko Haram was to instil fear in Christian communities in the northern part of the country, so that they cannot come out to queue up for Jonathan during the election.
The former Niger Delta militant leader said the President would have no choice other than to run for a second term even as he stressed that Boko Haram had nothing to do with Islam
