Chief coach of South Africa national team, Shakes Mashaba has warned his Nigerian counterpart, Stephen Keshi not to expect any favours on November 19, when their teams clash in Uyo in the last Group A qualifying match of Afcon 2015.

Speaking ahead of the all important match, particularly for the Super Eagles, Mashaba said, “the last match is as important as was the match against Sudan. We are going to Nigeria to face the Super Eagles, it is going to be war because they want to win and we are aiming for maximum points.”

Mashaba who has had an excellent run with the Bafana Bafana since taking over from Gordon Igesund said his players will not rest on their oars as a win over Nigeria would mark a very important turn in their history. “They could not beat us in Cape Town and we were a bit timid in front of goal.
This time, we have more confidence in ourselves and our position in the group shows how determined we want to succeed,” the coach said, adding, “ we will try to beat them in Uyo to prove to them(the Eagles) that this is our time.”

Mashaba’s strong statement cannot be dismissed as his team is riding high at the moment, having already secured their ticket for the 2015 Afcon which will be held at Equatorial Guinea. Bafana Bafana yesterday.
