About 500 Nigerian deportees arrived in Nigeria from the United Kingdom this morning aboard a chartered flight. This move is a monthly exercise by the UK government, in which about 100 detainees from the UK are deported to their respective countries via charter flights commonly run by Titan Airways. Here are photos of some Nigerians who were deported. According to reports from BBC, the deportees are not happy to be back and those who don't have relatives in the Lagos are stranded in the airport
One person told me that he was arrested by British police and was not allowed to even take his belongings before being deported,” the BBC said in its report.
