Popular afrobeat singer, and son of afro music legend, Femi Kuti underwent an emergency surgery at The Lagoon Hospital in Lagos on Sunday, November 22. While many of his fans are praying for his quick recovery, the cause of the emergency surgery is yet to be known.
According to reports, Femi has already been discharged from the hospital and will need rest at home for some week. Yeni, his elder sister posted a photo of him while lying in his hospital bed and she captioned it:
“Femi Kuti after the operation. Smiling, high on morphine. It’s a morphine thing.” Funke, his ex-wife and mother of his son Made, who happened to be around during the operation, also shared a video clip of Femi leaving the hospital. She captioned it:
