They say life begins at 40. And while there’s nothing notable said about turning 45, that didn’t stop supermodel Naomi Campbell hiring an entire castle to mark the occasion of her 45th.
Even compared to some of last week’s most extravagant soirees at Cannes, Naomi’s bash was epic: guests helicoptered into the grounds of the Chateau Saint Jeannet, which saves the trouble of swanning along a red carpet, Mirror UK reports.
Inside the plush do at the lux 15-bed fortress outside Nice were two walls of red roses, a swimming pool filled with huge silver baubles and, amazingly, a vast selection of magazine covers featuring the birthday girl herself.
The model had reportedly spent weeks planning the glamorous bash with her rumoured new squeeze, electric race-car team owner Bert Hedaya.
