The vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday paid an unscheduled visit to the Alagbole, Lagos home of Femi and Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti.
At exactly 1.20p.m., Osinbajo in a convoy of two unmarked SUVs, drove into the compound of the Afrobeat music star, accompanied by his personal assistant and four other aides.
He immediately went into Femi’s sitting room, telling everyone with him to “please excuse me, I want to have a one on one with Femi.”
Yeni Kuti, elder sister of the music star was to join them in the discussion about 30 minutes later.
They all finally came out of the meeting at about 2.45p.m.
Recall that last week Wednesday, February 18, 2015 marked the 38th anniversary of the burning of music maestro Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s Kalakuta Republic home by the unknown soldier
