But politically, the intractable crisis that bedeviled the All Progressives Congress, since the election of the principal officers of National Assembly, may have been resolved as the two contestants for the Senate Presidency seat reconciled at the residence of APC Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, on Monday.

Senators Bukola Saraki and Ahmed Lawan finally embraced each other after a peace deal was reached, to end the crisis that had threatened to tear the party apart.

It happened that the bus I took from Ojota to Obanikoro was stopped at Idiroko by LASTMA officers which the guy begged them that he should be pulled over to the other lane but because the officers wanted to enter into the bus, he (Onah. M) in the attached picture started punching the driver till blood came out of his mouth.

Man drowns friend for refusing to join his cult group in Lagos

                              

The police in Lagos state is looking for a suspected cultist named Anu Olokodana (pictured right), for allegedly drowning his childhood friend, 20 year old Adeleke Awosiga (pictured left) for refusing to join his cult group based in Isheri, Ojodu berger in Lagos state.

According to a report by Punch, the incident happened on June 13th during a birthday party for Anu. An argument ensued between the two friends and Anu reportedly twisted Leke's neck and threw him into a swimming pool inside a hotel in Isheri where he was having his party.

President Buhari Orders Removal Of Military Check Points

           

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the removal of all military check points nationwide and has directed that police should take control of internal security. Addressing State House correspondents after‎ a meeting between the president and service chiefs, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry of defence, Alhaji Ismail Aliyu said the president directed the security chiefs to liaise with the Police on taking over internal security.

A man from South African has been caught raping a goat in Sharpeville, a report by City Press said. According to the newspaper, at around 18:30 on Friday a shepherd caught the man when he heard the goat frantically bleating, spokesperson of Gauteng police, Major Mack Mngomezulu said. “The man undressed himself and then caught the goat, strangled it and started to have sex with it.

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja today freed the former Managing Director of defunct Bank PHB, Francis Atuche who is standing trial for allegedly stealing N25.7 billion. Atuche and his wife, Elizabeth, were standing trial over alleged theft of N25.7 billion belonging to the bank (now Keystone Bank). They were prosecuted alongside a former Chief Financial Officer of the bank, Ugo Anyanwu.
