Ban On Police Road Blocks Across Nigeria Still In Force..IGP

                   
The Inspector-General of Police, Acting IGP Suleiman Abba, NPM, NPOM, mni, has stated unequivocally that the order banning the setting up of Police road-blocks nationwide is still strictly in force. In a directive issued to all Commands and Formations of the Force, the IGP warned that all semblances of Police road-blocks and permanent check-points reportedly re-emerging in some parts of the country, especially in the South-East, South-South and South-West geo-political zones of Nigeria should immediately be dismantled.

Why I Charge High Tuition Fees In My University - Oyedepo

The founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has defended the tuition fees charged by schools owned by the church, describing the provision of quality education as an expensive venture.

Private schools in the country, including Covenant and Landmark universities, owned by the church are often criticized for being too expensive for average Nigerians to afford. But Oyedepo says Nigerians complain about the cost of education in private universities because they have got their priorities misplaced.

While addressing journalists on Friday in Ota, Ogun State, at a media chat organized in commemoration of his 60th birthday coming up on September 27, 2014, PUNCH reports that Oyedepo said:

Crazy Guy! Cemetery Worker Suspended For Posing With Corpse (LOOK)

  

A Spanish grave digger simply identified as Clemente, has been suspended from work after appearing in a pose with a corpse he just dug up. The corpse was buried 23 years ago and in the recent photograph, Clemente was seen together with the nephew of the dead man while another relation took the shot with her phone. The man’s body had been exhumed as his grave was being extended so his recently deceased wife could be added to the tomb, reports The Local.

Mrs. Monica Solomon, who suffered severe burns in the May 1  Nyanya blasts, has alleged being  abandoned at the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital. Her story:

On May 1, I  was going to work. I alighted  from commercial motorcycle and decided to buy mango at Nyanya bus stop,   after which I was waiting to catch a bus to town.

Not quite 10 minutes after, I turned and saw a man standing behind me while I was on  queue.I became apprehensive and my spirit told me to move away from there. In fact,  my spirit did not just like the way the  man was standing. I could not ascertain whether he was a passenger or not.   Two minutes later, I heard a blast.

When I heard the blast I shouted ‘Jesus Christ’.  I became unconscious, the next thing I felt was somebody  pushing me out of  fire.He kept pushing me until it got to a point and I said ‘let me see the person  pushing me’. When I opened my eyes I didn’t see anybody. At that point, I jumped up, and was  shouting Jesus Christ’.

A building in aYesterday, Journlaist Nicolas Ibekwe released an audio tape where TB Joshua gave 50 thousand naira each to journalists who came to cover the collapsed Synagogue building.(Here)The money was a total of 750 thousand naira. He says he was the only one who refused  what he called "bribe"..There have been mixed feelings over his disclosure but he says he stands by what he says and he won't stop.

Another Church Building Collapse In Edo State (PHOTOS)

  
A building in an Edo State church has collapsed. The building owned by Christ Chosen Church of God, located in Egor, collapsed today 19th of September, 2014.

According to eyewitnesses, the building is an old residential building in the church premises, which workers were asked to demolish before collapsing on them and killing three.
Youths in the community after saving people trapped under the rubble, angrily set one of the church buses ablaze. Edo State Commissioner of Police has also confirmed the incident. More photos after the cut.

THERE was utter shock and disbelief at Asuogyaman in the Eastern region of Ghana during the week when a three-year-old kindergatten pupil confidently told the District Chief Executive (DCE) and his delegation during ‘my first day at school,’ visit that he aspired to become an armed robber in future to enable him become rich.

The shocking answer was a response to a question the DCE, Thomas Ampem Nyarko, asked the children regarding what they aspired to become in future.
