The lone survivor and Orderly to the late Head of State, Staff Sergeant Michael Otuwu, broke his silence in a highly emotional interview with The AUTHORITY Daily, nearly 40 years after the tragic incident.

Tubman replacing Jackson on the $20 a deeply symbolic move

NEW YORK (AP) — Growing up in Oklahoma, Becky Hobbs noticed some of her Cherokee elders wouldn't even touch a $20 bill because they so despised Andrew Jackson. To this day, the 66-year-old songwriter pokes him in the face whenever she gets one.

For Hobbs and many other Native Americans, the U.S. Treasury's decision to replace Jackson's portrait with Harriet Tubman's is a hugely meaningful change.

A slave-owning president who forced Cherokees and many other Indian nations on deadly marches out of their southern homelands, being succeeded by an African-American abolitionist who risked her life to free others? Unprecedented.

                          image

If Caitlyn Jenner walked into Trump Tower and asked to use the bathroom, Donald Trump says he would be fine with her using any one she chooses.

During a town hall hosted by NBC’s “Today” on Thursday, the Republican frontrunner weighed in on North Carolina’s new law requiring transgender people like Jenner to use restrooms that match their sex at birth rather than their gender identity — saying the legislation was unnecessary.

“There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate — there has been so little trouble,” Trump said. “North Carolina, what they’re going through with all the business that is leaving and strife — and it’s on both sides — you leave it the way it is.”
